At the time of writing the US dollar continued to strengthen against its major peers as data coming in for jobless claims was better than forecast, adding to speculation that the Fed will reduce monetary stimulus as the economy improves.

The Yen continues to slide against the greenback as the Group of 20 'Club' endorsed the BoJ's monetary easing policy which is designed to increase inflation to 2%.
