Market News

The GBP/USD managed to pull itself above 1.6800 today (now hovering just under at the time of writing) following UK employment data.  Likely resistance is seen at around 1.6830 (the highs for June 9th) with support at 1.6770 then 1.6735.

EUR/USD has extended its sideways slip as traders look to Central Bank noises in the coming weeks.  For any meaningful movement the ECB needs to come out of the shadows of the Fed.  A dovish outlook by the ECB has still seen a firm Euro currency.  Any weakness seen by the Fed could lead to EUR/USD spiking upwards again.

USD/JPY has seen bulls take up the strain just below the 102 level with a short term uptrend just about intact (although daily channels have been breached).  The main drivers for JPY volatility has decreased and as a result range-bound trading has led to a somewhat lethargic market.
